You probably won’t be too surprised by the first item as there’s a good chance it’s also popular in your part of the world. Otherwise, I do find German breakfasts nice, but a little different to what I’m used to.

While I initially found eating bread, cold cuts and cheeses for breakfast a little weird (as it seemed more like lunch food for me), I soon got into it and enjoyed it a lot.
So don’t just stick to what you eat at home in Germany. Give all the foods a chance!
