Let’s talk about weddings! What can you expect at a Germany wedding? Is it different to an American wedding?

German weddings have their own traditions, although they aren’t that much different. One of the things I find interesting is that it is mandatory to have a civil ceremony at a registry office, but then people usually have a second one somewhere else which could be at a church.

But there are much more fun traditions, like smashing plates, sawing a tree, kidnappings and more! 😂
