Being able to conjugate the verb to be allows you to say many different things, like your name, age, how you feel and so much more. It opens the door to many statements and is super useful.

Watch the video below to learn the verb Sein which is to be in English. Below the video, you’ll find a list of the vocabulary used so you can write it down and practise.

You can do this!

Vocabulary taught in this lesson:

  • ich bin – I am
  • du bist – you are (singular)
  • er/sie/es ist – he/she/it is
  • wir sind – we are
  • ihr seid – you are (plural)
  • Sie sind – they are

Time to practise until you can say these words without thinking 🙂
