It’s not hard to talk about hobbies in German and it’s more interesting than asking how someone is or talking about the weather. It’s one of our harder lessons so far though so see how you go!

Vocabulary taught in this lesson:

  • Was ist dein Hobby? – What is your hobby?
  • Mein Hobby ist…. – My hobby is….
  • Tennis spielen – playing tennis
  • Musik hören – listneing to music
  • schwimmen – swimming
  • reiten – horseriding
  • fotografieren – photography
  • lesen – reading
  • Basketball spielen – playing basketball
  • Fußball spielen – playing soccer
